Here’s my take on it tho, I think there’s like 80k total applicants and like 55-60k EA applicants and then they deferred like 15-20% of total applicants but they deferred less for more competitive majors

So a more competitive major like mechanical engineering might have less deferrals but also less acceptances during RD soo the ratio ends up being the same
