Which is why if you can afford Stanford without it being a financial strain, I’d have a hard time saying no to that

Yes, the course rigor is insane but that’s top engineering schools in general. If you’re not interested in it, you won’t survive, so I’d recommend going down the CS route if that’s you’re thing. I’m assuming you have much more interest in software than hardware?
