you can always switch here that doesnt matter. objectively on recruting strengths

Kelley has a very strong pipeline from its flagship programs (collectively called IBN but are broken up into IBW IBS PEW)
If youre in those programs, the school will generall assist you in getting into high finance. Other than that though, Indiana does not retain much prestige as a schoool, and finding interviews is quite hard. This is somewehat non-unique, but USC holds a degree of regional prestige in the california region that will get you calls and stuff that generlaly going to Indiana will not

Theres also just more opportunities outside of traditional IB/PE Finance which require general prestige that USC has

but if youre dead focused on Investment Banking route with the trad route then arguably IU is a better choice

TTP as it is “known” on the internet does not exist. There is not a (and has never been) program that guarantees admission provided a person completes x, y, and z. Transfer student are encouraged to study abroad during that time, but it has nothing to do with legacy status, donor status, etc. I was also admitted via “TTP” but it literally is just attending a transfer presentation that is literally the exact same ones they give every week

I personally have never felt unsafe on or around campus. USC has MANY programs in place to ensure safety like requiring an ID if you want to come on campus and a free Lyft service every night between 6pm-2am

that being said it is a major city, so just like any major city make sure to stay aware of your surroundings (don’t walk alone at night/with airpods in, keep doors locked, dont fall for scams etc)
