I just mean that CAS is less unique than the other 3 programs—Wharton is the business undergrad, and their nursing and engineering schools are both small but very strong

CAS is a bit of incredible majors, and a bit of majors that are still spectacular—but have stiff competition since almost every top school has those majors

Wharton might be HYPSM level, but CAS is solidly top 10

trivial factors such as me liking an urban environment more and the walkability of the surrounding area (im from a suburan area so i wanted a change), convenience of shadowing and research opportunities since the med facilities are right on campus, theres plenty of great vietnamese restaurants in philly (im viet and i knew i wouldve missed viet food a lot which is very important to me), and my mommy wanted me to go here when we visited since she thinks the vibes were the right fit for me

theyre also giving me a refund of $2.7k per yr from financial aid so i technically get paid to go here which can offset the off campus food expenses

the penn drawbacks for me were that the schools undergrad population is larger in size so i was afraid of larger class sizes which might influence support from professors, the dining hall food, distance from home since duke would be significantly closer (6hr car drive) meanwhile penn was 12hrs away, and colder weather

honestly i don’t think you should regret your decision, especially for the reasons that you gave. penn and duke are both great schools either way so stick with your decision rather than regretting it
