for anyone who's currently waitlisted, here's my advice as a current uchicagoan who got waitlisted and got off the waitlist

send an LOCI that says "i really like yall, here's what I did since applying" and the most important part, "i will accept if yall take me off the waitlist"

if they schedule a time to call you, that (usually) means you got in
