Dartmouth is a university with a strong focus on its undergraduates. It has the benefits of a large research university in terms of research opportunities, but focused on undergrads instead of grad students.

I personally like the D-plan as well, which provides a lot more flexibility compared to pretty much every other school.

This will be appreciated more or less depending on what you prefer, but I enjoy the idea of a rural campus too
