I think Harvard runs head and shoulders above Dartmouth. No matter how you shake it whether you look at return on education investment or college experience, these two schools are night and day.

While Dartmouth is recognized in many well-educated circles, Harvard is recognized worldwide regardless of socioeconomic status. Not to mention a degree from there will set you up to do anything you could ever think of. In fact there are very few schools, other MIT and (maybe)Stanford or (maybe) Oxbridge, that I would take over Harvard.
