There are students who get accepted every year who haven’t had an interview. but also like when they ask if you have anything else to add, you should describe specific aspects of yale that attract you to the school - why is the school a good fit for you? why are you a good fit for the school? those are what they are trying to gauge when they listen to your “why yale” response
