I'm not hating; I love MIT and I think it's an amazing school, which is why I hold it equivalent to Harvard & Stanford. I just think, the reason that it isn't above them, is because of the narrow focus of MIT. They do heavily advocate for humanities at MIT and they do a great job of ensuring that opportunity is there, but it's just the simple fact that it's MIT and the culture is STEM related and heavy with minimal teachings in STEM specific fields that relate into others.

But it's kind of like comparing a red rolls royce to a black rolls royce lo

There are minimal teachings in STEM fields (such as CS/MechE) that relate into other fields (Humanities, English, Philosophy)

Whereas at a place like Harvard there are cs courses that heavily go into philosophy, english, environment, law, etc
