I'm not an honors student so I can only really provide the external perspective of it. I don't feel like I missed out on anything by not being part of Honors Carolina. I'm still graduating with honors (both my GPA & senior honors thesis) without the additional Honors Carolina requirements and stuff. I'm not really quite sure what Honors offers, aside from a really fuckin nice dorm and priority registration, which are both very nice to have. But I wouldn't say "if you didn't get honors, don't attend", because you can still take honors classes and graduate with honors without Honors Carolina
