the private bathrooms for a floor are shared with the whole floor. idk what dorms all have them but both honors and windsor have a few bathrooms per floor that is just the door it locks and then theres one toiler, sink, and shower in it. its mostly meant to be the accesible bathrooms as the other communals are not very accessible

I did not get in directly but I did get into the parkland pathways program where I am able to dorm at UIUC, take classes at UIUC while being dual enrolled at parkland college (a community college nearby in the Urbana Champaign area). I get access to every facility and resource UIUC offers while paying a cheaper tuition rate (community college rate) for both parkland and UIUC classes

But the program was really selective this year so I’m still proud of my decision regardless

And no college debt, yay!

so its rly rly similar to cs, it just has a few things different. Firstly, u dont learn C like the cs majors do. It’s all python. U get more ml ai classes in third and fourth years. And there’s more psych and phil classes

That’s a small gripe i have, they don’t differentiate it as much like the other schools, like Penn focuses a ton on optimization, which is rly nice. But if ur looking for a major rly rly similar to cs, then you’ll like the ai major

I kind of like the phil and psych courses cuz they’re easy lol, and they’re actually kinda fun. I’m learning stuff in those classes and then i actually see them get applied in other things im doing, like my research, so it’s cool when that happens
