I was born in NYC but now I live 20 miles away in jersey. I honestly thought this place would completely suck cause it's in the middle of nowhere, but it's not that bad. Campus kinda feels like a northern jersey suburb. If you go out into lafayette, it feels more like the middle of nowhere

If you go from nyc to here, it will be somewhat of a transition but you get used to it fast
