so I’m a programmer, I love math, I love the intersection of them both. Knowing my professors are insanely qualified, at office hours one day I asked my math professor about research advice, since she mentioned she did a lot a while ago

She started going on and on about computational fluid dynamics and simulation (something at the time I did a bit of stuff in) and eventually I asked if this was something she was still interested in pursuing

Fast forward to now, we’re working on a paper and I’ve massively advanced my knowledge in physics math and cs because of it

something that no other kid in the class did and to this day they all still complain about lack of research or things to do, because they don’t make the effort to try and ask
