SJSU: I liked how I’d be majoring in public relations and this was honestly one I really struggled to turn down bc of that + how it seemed to be a more hands on course approach + it’s in Silicon Valley and I’d love to do marketing or comms in tech. you get your major directly handed to you instead of being undeclared in L&S for a bit
your minimum units you can take is 12
but this is usually 13 (see L&S again)
the college is small so your major adviser is someone you can actually speak to, it just takes a while
i had to put in a petition for smth and my major adviser responded in a couple of paragraphs within like 20 mins
whereas a lot of people here at berkeley don't really have that
the thing is you aren't allowed to take ANY classes at rausser as pass/no pass
