Things like that are fun questions to answer.

1. Not gonna lie Canes is such an easy grub to grab. I also love dragonfly sushi downtown.
2. Outside of campus I go thrifting and hit the oak's mall. There's a cool lake too to kayak in and look at nature called Lake Wahlberg.
3. Philosophy was my favorite class and professor. Such a thought-provoking class.
4. Model UN has such a fun crowd and is a great social outlet for me. The CS clubs i was in for a bit were actually fun too, GatorUserDesign.
5. I thought CS was my life until i realized I enjoyed it as more of a creative outlet than something to make a career out of. Go to clubs for every interest of yours in the beginning, not just your major, because that's how you'll discover what you really enjoy, and it's good to have side interests.
6. Broward Dining is the best. I just hit the Reitz for Mi Apa though.

Well, yeah. But for the most part, it’s the same as any other job training. You’re given more information for context to keep what is seen publicly running as best it can and to provide context when you’re helping advise/working events. It’s nothing scandalous, it’s more procedural, like understanding what “holistic” really looks like. It’s a privilege too - we had to apply, we got trained, we accept the responsibility of representing the university.

I wasn’t at Gracie’s training day but I know my first training was drinking from the firehose but it opened my mind so much to understanding the why’s.

I deal a lot more with our sponsors because some of the stuff they work with is parallel with what I want to do career-wise, which means sometimes I will learn stuff. But they trust me enough at this point to be able to. but I’m also under like 7 NDAs so it’s no big deal

I’d say think about your question- do you REALLY want to be in an environment that doesn’t fit right and suffer for the “prestige”? Our job and our joy is helping students find their future home for the next four years - one they’re excited to attend, not dreading. And home may not be UF. College is a personal decision.

Also, most “secrecy” is so that you don’t play to a specific thing you think we want because we don’t have a specific idealized box that means an automatic fill! We all have different strengths- we want you to be honest in your app and show us those instead of what you think we want to hear. I’m always blown away by the students I get to meet at events or on tours, and their unique passions and enthusiasm recharge me!

I keep going between graduating in summer 26 (I'd have to be taking 18 credits a semester), fall 26 (good and allows me to finish my major + honors thesis) or spring 27 (finish my major + honors thesis and a minor)

and like spring 2027 is the set semester i'm supposed to graduate on one uf or whatever so any of those would be ok and not include asking for extra time

i have three options basically - fall '26 grad with high courseload, spring '27 grad with low courseload, or spring '27 grad with double major mid to high courseload
