Hmmm I think I disagree with this. You could truthfully and totally just be a normal person, but don't fit in at Harvard (for example.) You are just a smart kid, get good grades, but maybe you aren't really passionate about anything and doesn't have any real curiosity or genuine hope to change the world, I would bet that an interviewer (granted they ask the right questions/present the motive to get this information) would reflect that upon your application.

This kid could be an IMO Gold Medalist, or he could have some great ECs, but he just would not fit in the Harvard environment and I think a lot of interviewers would truthfully write that in their report.

My MIT interviewer told me something similar, his was more along the lines of he spends a good 3 hours meticulously creating his report, but if he truthfully believes that a student just would not fit in at MIT he is going to put that

don’t you think it’s more likely that there’s just a scheduling issue with an interviewer, or there’s not a lot of interviewers/too many applicants in your region, or any number of potential conflicts? there’s a bunch of reasons why your interview could be delayed, no use worrying abt it when you’re already submitted
