Location/Region: My state is New Jersey and I would prefer to stay in the Northeast region of the USA, but am willing to go out of this region depending on where I get accepted.

GPA/Test Scores: 1560 SAT (790 math, 770 ela), 3.97/4 UW, 5 on AP Chem, AP Calc AB/BC, AP CSA/CSP, AP World

I'm not sure Princeton and Duke are very strong for AI/ML, their strength seems to be more theory/interdisciplinary areas

Also you're very lucky to be in state for Rutgers. They have some really hard hitters in AIML research (prof Ping Li comes to mind)

it has that competitive environment youre looking for while also having a good social scene, and they are investing huge amounts of money into their data science program

i know you said costs arent a factor but UF is only 30k tuition out of state
