I'm not sure Princeton and Duke are very strong for AI/ML, their strength seems to be more theory/interdisciplinary areas

Also you're very lucky to be in state for Rutgers. They have some really hard hitters in AIML research (prof Ping Li comes to mind)

Purdue has an undergraduate AI major
It is also rly rigorous and quite competitive as well if that’s what u like

it has that competitive environment youre looking for while also having a good social scene, and they are investing huge amounts of money into their data science program

they have a huuuuge building that they just built due to a gift from nvidia
