one completely disregard relationship when discussing college; it limits you too much. if somehow you'd be at least a bit fine with oos, then cmu has a spectacular design program which emphasizes less on your resume and more on your portfolio
two uc irvine has a game design program; cal poly slo has a cs program where there is game design within it; ucsd has a pretty good design program, as well as a ux program if they're into that
also if you're looking for under 60 people per class yet you want ucla that might be a little difficult sometimes 💀
