I’m not convinced that BC has better prestige and name recognition — personally Wesleyan seems more prestigious but they’re similar

im not so sure about BC but i have friends at wesleyan and ik that the research opportunities there are AMAZING
one of my friends is double majoring molecular bio + econ and she's already had her name published in papers as a sophomore (albeit for bio research, but i'd assume something similar for polisci/history)
the small class sizes and overall school rly help w forming those close connections w profs!
