BU pros:
Well ranked in bme.
More personalized attention compared to UCSD and is a private school.
BU cons:
less highly ranked than UCSD.
campus may not be the best.
UCSD pros:
stronger BME than BU, a little more recognized.
UCSD cons:
Very far.
Much more competitive.
Socially dead apparently.
Out of state tuition again. (though BU is also 90k)
