Hi guys! I'm an international student stuck between two universities rn: Notre Dame vs HKU (hong kong)
I'm looking to pursue finance/economics and hopefully break into US INVESTMENT BANKING in the near future. ik HKU ranks way higher in terms of university rankings, but Notre Dame is a #7 target school in investment banking (according to Peak Frameworks). In contrast, HKU only places #45 as a target school in investment banking? (ranking is based off of # of hires into top investment banking firms)
so basically:
HKU Pros - full RIDE, higher university ranking, nearer to home
HKU Cons - only #45 on the target school investment banking list
Notre Dame Pros - rly high employment in investment banking
Notre Dame Cons - no scholarship, far from home
idk, all im rly worried abt is being able to land a good investment banking job in the US right after college
