No safeties?
Northeastern University, Drexel University, and Kettering University have some of the best co-op programs in the US
I was a computer engineering student in college, and am more than happy to discuss my experience
Northeastern would be the closest in terms of student life
Kettering is very rigorous, so most of your time is spent studying. So it made the mediocre student life tolerable
I usually had like 2-3 hours a day to do fun stuff during academic terms (I was a CompE student there)
Drexel also has ok student life from what Iโve heard
I might suggest Arizona State or even U of Arizona. TSMC is building a big chip making plant in Arizona and will hopefully be looking for a bunch of Comp E folks. Also supposed to have general very good engineering programs and they may pay you to be there with National Merit. And big city or mid-size city depending on which you prefer. But it will be warm.
add USC, as you will get 1/2 tuition thx to Nat'l Merit.
I would suggest cal poly slo/cal poly Pomona
Not sure if tuition is still expensive for OOS bc u live in Oregon
And definitely apply to all of the schools that consider national merit
ik someone mentioned USC
Some cal states are WUE but not the ones a2cers tend to apply to
UC Merced is the only WUE UC
I would suggest these if they do WUE or you get hella scholarships bc ik ASU does but only for some majors but I canโt recall which
I think Arizona might as well
yeah i just checked and u of A is only wue for mining engineering and natural resources
CPP has computer science nad computer engineering programs under WUE so you might be interested in that op
ut dallas is a good school for national merit
