No real preference for region, I am in Northeast, so some local schools would be welcoming. No real preference for location, as long as it's not super remote.

Major: biology for premed, maybe a minor in econ

GPA/SAT: 4.563 (weighted)/1530

Curriculum: Premed

Costs: My family's paying

Schools You're Currently Looking At: Looking for top 25-50ish range, Emory, NYU, Tufts

Additional: grade deflation is def a deal breaker, want research opportunity + shadow at hospitals

only other cool bme/premed i was looking at were columbia, brown, and jhu

case western has a BS/MD program

UVA is also close to hospital and is increasing funds for research

Who decides what t25 premed schools are? Rice has similar med school placement to every single one of those, touches the largest med center in the world, etc

If you are referring to medical school rankings Rice doesn’t have one

T25-50 means schools that are good for premed which are in the top 25 or 50 overall
