Gabelli school of business at Rose hill is business majors INCLUDING information systems (cs alt that people tend to forget lol)—most funding of any college at Fordham

Gabelli school of business at Lincoln Center is for the Global Business major and that major only—google it it's honestly not the vibe for me but u may differ

Fordham college is for other majors at the respective campuses (LC has less options cause it's smaller) inc "normal" CS—logically though it is not worth it to study cs here go to city college or somewhere else lol

I would say that Fordham is a good school for people who are personally driven to succeed, and yes, I know that might sound cringey, but let me explain. Fordham will only work for you if you work for it—so to speak, they'll help you along the way but you have to put time and effort into knowing what you want to do and making the most out of the resources we have available in order to succeed. A lot of that is cold emailing/talking with alumni and upperclassmen and whatnot because a lot of them do work locally/have good reach throughout the university and NYC

i am someone who also thinks you shouldn't come to college if you're not focused on making a return on your investment as well tho so ya

it really does help if you're genuinely passionate about X or Y (which is technically true of anywhere) but in line with cura personalis (latin for care of the whole person because we're a jesuit school) people here do appreciate it if you're working to help others and whatnot

No, people come here for a wide variety of reasons—we have a strong environmental studies program (well we have a research center up north in the woods that's all I rlly know about that), international political economy program, and performing arts as well

Yup! The internal transfer rate into Gabelli is essentially 100% if you do good academically so if that ends up being something you wanna do that's dependable

You won't be behind in any way because our first-year curriculum is a liberal arts core

About credits, there's only so many that you can convert at Fordham—aka you will at best be able to skip 4 subjects or so

I know this is very general, at the end of the day, if i do go i will satisfy a lot of the elective requirements along with language requirements and some social study major related credits, i think i'd have to do some advanced english and science gen ed stuff

German B1/B2 Level (B2 is considered proficient and i could get credit for it if i take a test)

as a tl;dr:

Rose Hill = Bronx campus (less diverse? but larger and more chill)
Lincoln Center = (more diverse but smaller and very convoluted building design wise)

Gabelli school of business at Rose Hill (RH) is business majors INCLUDING information systems (cs alt that people tend to forget lol)—most funding of any college at Fordham
Gabelli school of business at Lincoln Center (LC) is for the Global Business major and that major only—perhaps not as employable as a normal business major ex. Finance or Accounting or Marketing but it depends
Fordham college is for other majors at the respective campuses (LC has less options cause it's smaller)

most career fairs are held at fordham rose hill, and Gabelli at Rose Hill is a larger college with more funding/support than lc
employment wise, you can use the resources at both campuses interchangeable, ex. you can most definitely use rooms at lc for interviews/coffee chats/other career relevant things
the big 4 accounting firms (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte) all recruit from campus (you might be able to call us a target school i'm not too clear on that)
we also have people who go into Point72 and quant but that's a VERY difficult path to go down—not recommended unless you're willing to grind very very very hard on ur own

overall hirability from the school is great so long as you put in the effort—they don't necessarily suggest freshman year internships (at least during your incoming fall/spring) but they do allow summer
networking is big here if u can't network you're not making the most of what we have cause alumni do really like this school
