-Best Campus (especially Architecture) in US (better than Cornell)
-Faculty in my field
-some kind of research grant in it
-graduate centers dedicated to stuff like virology, and has top 5 programs in all of the many disciplines I’m interested in
-better study abroad
-I have a duke poster in my room
-I like their “rare languages” program
-cooler name
-Closer
-pretty gardens

-probably none of my friends will go there

Academics is my largest factor. Duke has more collective other factors though, but right now the med ent stuff is way better academics wise so I need to know the tiebreakers

Yeah. I was talking to my cousin who had a similar question of "what if I go to a school where I like the vibes but they don't have my field as much as other schools". My answer was that you should look into **getting into a lab **freshman year. You can learn everything about the field and the important concepts without having to do random homeworks and stuff that don't focus on the applications in the field. So, if Duke has researchers in Med Ent at least, and if you like email them and build a connection to kind of make sure you could have a spot in their lab potentially if you were to attend, then that could make up for it big time. Because people doing research in labs will be there at least 2-3 days a week every week.

Cornell's known to have grade deflation, so for some top schools they curve the average or median of a class to an A- or higher but Cornell will curve it to a B or C, so your GPA looks worse on paper in comparison to schools like Harvard when you might be putting in the same or even more work
