Major: Econ/Finance ,(Data science second choice)
I am an international student with a 1470 sat and all a's on my A levels and have decent EC's with 4 involvements in research , albeit minor. And two internships relating to econ/finance.
I will be needing full aid
My EFC is 12 k usd for the first year and then it dips to 5-6 after that.
Similarities across all colleges, highly selective, offer good aid to internationals.
All have bad weather for me, Vassar and Bowdoin is too cold and NYU AD is too hot
Vassar pros:
5 min walk from my cousin's who works in a Vassar affiliated hospital.
Slightly less selective than the other two
up to 10k USD support from my cousin financially if I go there therefore I have a higher
EFC of around 23k USD
High wage rates
Cons:
Not need-blind
Bowdoin pros:
Need blind
they have a really nice digital help package with laptops and tablets
Cons:
Is not in a progressive state
slightly lower wage rate
NYU AD pros:
apparently need-blind but I'm not sure
A lot of people from my country on full aid so I'll feel at home
Good food
Free Laptop
Much easier to get a visa
Cons:
hard to go anywhere else after undergrad and i don't wanna be stuck in the Middle East
Terrible wage rates
Much lower EFC (idk if it matters just saying bc im not sure abt their policy) Apparently more competitive and my sat scores dont fall around median
