Umich probably is the best fit for you. While Berk is in NorCal, it doesn't get much if any snow usually I believe. Michigan is way more likely for it to snow.

#

If you aren't too picky on the Snow, other UCs with large asian populations are Irvine, LA, and SD. SD has a decent engineering program I believe, not so sure on Irvine and LA but I would presume, especially for LA, their programs are also top notch, since all the UCs are great (they are UCs, its a struggle for them to be bad).

#

Northeaster and Boston University are two other private unis I believe have good engineering

Somewhat?

I can say the security there is a little bit concerning

#

within the JHU homewood campus area it's very safe

#

but once you go two blocks away from the edge of campus (outside Wolman Hall and Barnes and Nobles) it starts getting dangerous

#

one night the dorm staff took us out to watch Barbie approximately 10 blocks away from the dorm and there was a cracked dude waving a knife at one of the students

#

so yeah you get what I'm saying😬

#

yes we were ok nobody was hurt but our dorm staff freaked out

#

I, too, would freak out meltingsob

#

Thanks for the information. I actually consider JHU before, now I can reconsider my decision!

fair trench
#

no problem

#

I mean I've been there myself

#

JHU is still on my list

#

it is one of the best pre-med places in the US

#

plus the Johns Hopkins Hospital is REALLY PRETTYYYYYY

#

I want to be there again

ionic token
#

Oh yeah? Hope you can get in and I wish the best luck to you!

#

I don't plan to go to medical major so I think I can cross out JHU 😄

purdue fits all of that (no aid but it's way less expensive than all the schools you're considering)

#

but physics is crazy hard

#

#

get a phd

#

only thing i can do

#

then teach

#

in terms of rigorousness it is top notch (class ain't that easy I can feel my brain burning after a class)

#

it kind of lacks on the prestige edge but honestly I don't get it
could be unfair but I think summer at Hopkins is harder than the CTY program (rigorousness wise)
