Also since Purdue is big on engineering we have like spacex and other big tech companies that come recruiting for cs and eng

#

Idk about the other schools what companies come

crude garden
#

Idk what is that school lol

#

oh

#

do not ED there

#

ppl literally regret that over T20s like UMD

#

as i was reading on reddit

#

are u instate for it or no as thats a completely different question then

#

i mean not only that

#

but ur ECs also matter

#

id say long shot at CMu then

#

u wont regret it either

#

nah

#

dont go BU

#

but EA a good amount of the schools

#

ill give u the ranking for the main t20s

#

so its purdue > umd > wisconsin

#

the reason is because umd and wisonsin dont admit u direct

#

their classes more disorganized compared to purdues as mainly TAs teach it at the other two schools

#

and its significantly cheaper

#

other than that whatever u think

#

but dont look for just those

#

look for UIUC Gtech, UW-Seattle

#

id say so yes

#

but depends where do u live

#

priortize all ur apps

#

oh

#

yea purdue is the most popular

#

literally all my friends are from the bay area lmao

#

aim for UCSD or UCLA

#

i heard its hard in state thou

#

like even harder than oos

#

would u go to uc irvine?

#

id say thatd be the easiest uc thats good to get intp

#

even UC santa cruz?

#

like over a T20 cs im saying

#

which UCs would u not pick or purdue umd etc

#

ah gotcha

#

for CS a top-tier public is almost always better than non-t10 private

#

schools like umd and uw-madison are easier to get into than BU but with a significantly better cs program and at a way cheaper price

#

schools like purdue uiuc and umich are around the same level of competitiveness but still have a better program

#

i'd personally say wisconsin but it's super close

yes I do! go to BGR its really inclusive and no one is discriminated here! We have a lot of diversity on campus and I've really enjoyed all the friends ive made here. Also, its really easy to get involved and we have a lot to offer especially in the area of ML. Our ML @ Purdue club is also sponsored by quant firms like Jane street so we do have a lot of good clubs in general if you want to get invovled that.

#

and basically the raw score i got into purdue score just reading was like 20 points higher

#

If you wanna be happy donโ€™t go to cmu

crude garden
#

Nah

#

Umich is good

#

Just ED Cornell at the end of it

#

Chances to get into CS are very slim

#

Yes you prob could get in another major but there is no point in that
