I didn't know about it till you mentioned it
wpi i dont think i can even apply
i didnt take precalc
i went from alg2 straight to bc
kinda weird requirement but it is what it is ig
ig you could call them and ask?
true
i mean you did take calc
I don't think that necessarily means they require precalc
It just means it counts
I have seen some forms flat out not count precalc for some reason so it could be in reference to that
Wpi being test blind just hit me I didn't know that I thought they were test optional ๐
theyre test blind???
Yeah
Accepted WPI Student Profile
Strong courses with an emphasis on math and science
Average GPA 3.92
Average class rank: Top 9%
WPI is a test-blind institution, so standardized testing is no longer taken into account in our admissions process.
damn my plan was to get 800 math in oct
to boost my app
my app kinda ass without a 800 in math
is that uw gpa
i would assume so but
I'm not sure but generally I just assume anything under 4.0 means uw
damn covid year will kill my application
There's also Binghamton but I find it hard to believe you'd get rejected from the other colleges I mentioned and it's generally worse than all of them
If you go to a suny for cs just go buffalo lol
ight shot an email to wpi
they never replied
It's cool
I recommend
And it's a pretty rigorous major
more rigorous compared to cs+advetising or cs&stats?
Rigorous is subjective
Maybe it's harder for you than stats or maybe it's easier
But it's a good major nonetheless
can u take NLP/ML courses instead of semantics or other courses?
Nah you have to take semantics as CS + ling
thats just 1 course right?
