do Harvey mudd and cmu do much fiancial aid
- Both schools offer need-based and meet 97-100% of demonstrated financial need.
- At Harvey Mudd, ~70% of students have at least some kind of aid.
- CMU is ~50%.
- I think CMU does some merit. Harvey Mudd not so much.
is there a limit or anything on the amount of fiancial aid?
alright
with all due respect, uiuc purdue and unc are not targets, theyre reaches for cs
especially oos
unless you have another skill you can tie into (for the + x) it is very difficult
and unc is a reach regardless of major oos
ok actually looked at stats, better predictions but its still difficult just because low accept rate
yah no frfr. i think given the stats it sorta makes sense, but u right
Nah just keep them as reaches regardless of stats
What if I’m instate unc
instate is a lot better
Alright
Would you say it’s a target in state?
im not 100% sure about this but i would say yes
If good ECs I think so if we look at UNC Common Dataset
he's above 75th percentile on the sats (1500 vs 1540)
higher than average gpa (4.6 vs 4.42)
and if you're in state and you have good ecs you should be in a decent position to get in
I’d say my ecs are decent
yeah id say you should be fine for unc
i cant speak for purdue but if youd like to apply to uiuc try a + x for higher acceptance rates
