my curiosity on maths and programming reigniting by installing League of Legends. I used to struggle with coding as a minor method could take 100-ish lines and an hour to debug. Meanwhile, popular algorithms across all fields use multivariate calculus and linear algebra, making applied math seem hard-to-get. That all changed at LOL. Built around a specific model, I can feel and experience its variables—such as the enemy’s HP—and not just letters and numbers. I realized that code-form methods should serve the model, rather than the model around code. Now, I can approach Markov chains with matrices—as well as how to defeat bots powered on them.

Following our feast, we went to Mckeldin library and reserved a study room to prepare for our upcoming kinematics test. Sitting atop Mckeldin library I stared out and watched the sunset with my new friends with my stomach filled with greasy food.
