For those who interview, the chances of earning a scholarship are very good. Approximately half will receive one of the top awards, the Presidential scholarship, worth 50 percent of tuition. How does transferring between ug schools work here

Like switching majors between schools

prior to enrolling after getting in you can change into whatever

then you can always change into something in like dornsife etc

but for some schools they make you take certain classes before being able to switch

business majors are required to take an economics and a maths class for credit in order to declare business

for some of the more popular schools it is more competitive (mainly viterbi and marshall) in terms of requirements, but i’ve heard some schools and programs you just cannot transfer into later on

Yup, they can also live in McCarthy. I don’t think ppl on scholarships get tons of additional benefits; there are special advisors I think available(? Don’t quote me on that) and there are some honors-specific events/resources but for the most part I’d say there’s not a ton of exclusively honors benefits

Okay I just looked at my common app application PDF and the common app essay is required along with the supplemental 250 essay and the short answer questions. Have you set up your common app account yet? Because once you write the essay you put it under the common app tab of the site and it appears for all of the colleges once you submit your applications. There are separate tabs for your school specific applications and your common app profile which includes all of your general information plus your common app essay. I hope this helps!
