I didn't see this option in the UNC application when I reviewed my application PDF. My scores appeared there unexpectedly, without any clear option to have them considered or not.

It's possible that they have to consider more factors than just quality of application/whether they want you or not (ex. assured enrollment, global launch/other programs, available faculty for the following year, funding restrictions, etc.)
