My undergrad is/was very low rank public university (like #2200 or something), but I did MSCS at Stanford. So if you want to attend Stanford, I guess there's proof it's possible to go somewhere else and do graduate level study at Stanford later.

Just work on being top of your class in undergrad and try to keep close to a 4.0 GPA.
