I think that you’re probably gonna be fine. The admissions department will (probably, 90%) understand that classes close and fill all the time, preventing even their own students from taking the courses they want. A course I was eyeing for at least a few weeks before the start of my spring semester was, without warning, cancelled <24 hours before its first session.

Honestly, I’m willing to state with relative confidence that you taking five college courses at all matters more than whether they’re at your local state university or your local community college. I think that, for Yale, you’re probably gonna be alright. You won’t be rescinded over this.
