i think it comes down to thinking this out and moving on from there. the whole idea of waiving FERPA in respect to interview reports or recs letter is very individual. it can matter more to some people than others. but, in my opinion, i think waiving FERPA rights is the way to go. it really can show character in a very simple way! why does it or will it matter what others say after you get in? also, it'll help you in the long run with discouraging obsessive thoughts.
