i would guess that whether a bad interview is classified as a "missed opportunity" or a point against you depends on your overall app

if everything in your app points to you having zero personality (exaggeration) and your interview goes poorly, then the AOs will think you're a flat person

if your app is flat but your interview goes swimmingly, then AOs may think of you more positively

(we are now entering speculative territory)
the way I see it is that AOs are incentivized to be pessimistic with every application because of the prevalence of faking or exaggerating stuff

and so a bad interview won't cause them to become optimistic while a good interview will
