You don't want to be put into a situation, at least I wouldn't, where you have to go somewhere 100% without having the chance to try to get into your top choices

Well I'm saying that it's statistically far more likely for Williams to choose you than your other top 4. So (in my head) it's a trade off. Gamble not getting into Yale NCM-round and having to go to Williams if you get in Williams NCM-round or remove williams and apply to Williams (RD or EA) if you don't match

I've heard that putting less colleges on NCM is a bad idea because you want to increase your chances of acceptance. But I only plan on putting 2 I like(UChicago & Emory) so is that fine or like does that mean I have a lesser chance at acceptance?
