Depends on the interview, but mine just asked me about what stuff i do and we had a conversation that went between that, her experiences at mit, and i asked her a bunch of questions about the school. She was really similar to me and what i want to major in / do at MIT, so it was super insightful. She asked a couple questions to kickstart some conversations, such as what do u do in ur free time, what about mit appeals to you, whats some challenges youve faced, etc. But after she would ask those the conversation would flow from there

Tbh even if you don't have that many significant updates per se, you can still make the most of your FUN form

Cracking a joke or sharing an inspirational quote as they suggest can actually do things for you

'Cause like, that sort of stuff reveals who you are and can reveal qualities which can make you more interesting as an applicant (don't go out of your way to say something quirky though)

You can tell them about things you've done since you've submitted your application - and that stuff could simply be things like spending time with your family/and or friends

And sometimes, those kinds of things can be even more helpful than updating them on some random award or whatever

Imo you should have fun with your FUN form

its about a female artist who was forced to paint so her dad could make money but she tried to make her art hers as much as possible oh and btw the book is in like the eighteenth century i think? so basically a time when women were thought to be docile and submissive but this female painter in all her paintings portrayed women as strong and dominating so she def stood out from the norm but she also underwent a lot of oppression and horrors because obviously as a young girl. oh and the whole book is narrated in verse and its intertwined with stories about the characters that this girl paints

"Hello MIT Admissions Folks,

Here is an exciting update on my activities since I last applied. I've continued to advance my programming skills and moved to rank three on [anti dox lol]! I rose from the top 300 to the top 50 in Google's GO language and am now in the top 20,000 overall across all programming languages on the site, with my top tag being mathematics. Speaking of mathematics, I recently had the opportunity to conduct some robotics and simulation research with Mr. [anti dox lol] ([anti dox lol]@yada.edu), an Army Research Labs scientist at Capitol Technology University. I was included as a co-author on a research paper set to be published in the IEEE journal this June.

You know what I find funny? Through high school, I shifted my interest from CS projects to math projects partly because I hated debugging code and perusing outdated libraries. However, I've realized that math projects aren't all that different (LOL). For context, I'm an AJAS delegate and will present my research at the AAAS/AJAS national conference in Denver on February 14th. I was working on the equation representing an X-ray mirror configuration, which took me 23 HOURS! Instead of debugging, I now had to find a new path to my solution, and instead of looking for documentation, I had to look for esoteric trigonometry papers from the deepest depths of Google.
