Someone else here may know more, but really the best advice I think most of us can give is that it is a normal letter of recommendation EXCEPT it should be completely focused on your research. Like a math recommendation would completely focus on your MATH skills, this letter should express how well you did in research, maybe you were very prepared or maybe you were extremely disciplined and accurate. Whatever it may be

They included their course in the email but it seems I never actually read that part so I went in without the knowledge they were a planning major 💀
