After each test, go over not only the ones that you missed, but the ones that you were even partially unsure about. You have to make it so you won't ever get that type of question wrong

MIT Interviewers love for you to have things to show them

Like if you are a photographer then bring photographs, if you did research bring some examples, or if you are a CS Nerd MF (like myself) I'm going to bring my laptop lmao

Though, I wouldn't FORCE it upon them, try to go with the flow of the interview and if it comes to a point in which it would be appropriate/good/whatever you call it for you to bring out your research do it. @trim flame

According to the MIT Alumni who does conduct interviews, the most important part of the interview is determining whether or not you're a fit for MIT. It is not determining whether or not you are qualified. They want to get to know who you are and if you are going to fit their community.

So something like michael has research, MIT has a big research community and they even sponsor research for pretty much every undergrad. That can be seen as both a qualification and a fit in my opinion.

The next big thing I think I got was that "Why MIT" is probably the BIG question you want to nail when interviewing.

Try to have a little bit of an idea on why you want to go there other than it's #2 or it's T10 or that you've wanted to go there since you were 4 years old and playing with Elon Musk on the playground.

And then be comfortable with yourself. Don't wear a suit or anything fancy, whatever you wore to school that day is just fine. (This one is from MIT Blog lol)

And like I told michael, if you have anything cool to show them bring it because they are a nerd just like us

For example, I'd say technically something that I won without any connection to school should be counted as non-scholastic

A scholastic achievement is anything relating to a school subject pretty much. A big math competition award, a research award, a science award, something of that nature
