I'm biased here but I think in terms of industry placement Harvard is equally competitive and better for quant.

I think the main reason to do Cornell over Harvard is if you want to do academia, then the broader/more numerous faculty at Cornell, but you can also xreg and do research at MIT if you're at Harvard

the number of premeds is I think slightly higher at Harvard but the number of clinical opportunities is insanely higher in boston

I hear this a lot too. on the whole I think it's mostly comparable but I can believe maybe slightly better at Yale (they unambigiously have better food lol). I think for the important stuff (faculty interaction, class sizes, etc) it's gonna be pretty similar.

Harvard does have more grad students but they're mostly in places that don't affect the undergrad experience (eg med + dentistry students, law students, dce, hsph, etc )

mmmmm for me I think what actually happened is I took harder and harder classes and eventually started realizing I was doing OK + having fun.

I think concretely, focusing more on learning and trying to push yourself out of your impostor syndrome bubble (eg by taking that harder class you think you aren't ready for, within reason) were helpful.

sure. you get a first year advisor and a premed advisor assigned based on a form you fill out. you also get a proctor (usually a grad student that lives in your dorm) for advising and also a PAF (peer advising fellow, a soph/jr/sr).
