and ultimately i realized that although uchicago was my top choice, i wanted the freedom of choice and didn't want to be bound to a particular school

but i also wanted to go to a top school

so i told myself that if i got into usc i wouldn't ed2 uchicago (usc was my only viable reach coming before the ed2 deadline)

and i got in so i switched to rd lol

in hindsight good decision but yeah unfortunatley i fell in love with uchicaog
