and I think that is the side of CS I want to get into, cybersecurity

there is really only 2 classes directly related to cybersecurity, CS 55 and CS 62, but now that I look at the course list there are some other networking classes which should probably touch on cybersecurity in some capacity, that is good to know that there is plenty of networking classes though, I thought it was all pure CS theory XD

They are a big deal because historically they hav been. A lot of inertia. They also host a lot of social events. You aren't allowed to join until ssophomore year, so you have over a yaer to make friends, if you rush, you'll likely end up rushing WITH your friends.
I will also say that Dartmouth's system is quite unlike any other Greek system I've experienced

I did. It wasn't something that was a big draw for me. I Didn't dirnk in HS. I loved all the time I spent there during my dad's reunions. I wanted to have access to outdoor activities I love. I loved the community and size (it was acutally one of the larger schools I applied to). I loved how the small classes let you get real time with your professors

its weird but people from the same school sometimes dont get the same interviewer. i guess they are trying to avoid letting the interviewer unconsciously compare their interviewees who are from the same school. so if it's based fully on availability, it makes sense that other ppl in ur school got an interview but u didnt since u guys don't have the same interviewer
