i would point out that dartmouth has a higher acceptance rate than cornell a&s and business. also even colleges like engineering, architecture, and cals have higher acceptance rates but rank higher than anything else equivalent in the ivy league. being a larger school shouldn't take away from the prestige of a cornell degree from one of the undergrad colleges ive mentioned

In terms of medicine, I'd say my biggest advice is to look for opportunities to explore the field of medicine as early as possible, that's a mistake I made during my first two years at Cornell.

In terms of general advice, if you're set on attending a college in the fall just relax and enjoy your last few months. Read some new books.

Yes I'm not adcom for med schools but I do believe they like to see longevity and resilience when it comes to activities

I didn't get any pubs while I was in my wet lab at Cornell but I got one working as a medical assistant after graduating

Most applicants don't even have a pub so don't worry about that too much
