does anyone know a little bit about Columbia's Combined Plan, i have a basic question about it

to put it simply: a LAC (Albion College) I am considering attending (have a full tuition scholarship) has a dual-degree program through Columbia (Albion calls it "Dual Degree Program in Engineering," DDPE) in which you attend Albion for 3 years to obtain a BA and then Columbia for an additional 2 for a BSE / BS in an Engineering field; my issues arises when, on the Albion website, Albion claims they have a guaranteed admission program with Columbia. Columbia has their "Combined Plan" which allows students to study at an LAC for a BA and then transfer and complete a BSE at Columbia, and Albion is on Columbia's list of schools which participate in this program, so I assume this DDPE program at Albion is what Columbia call the Combined Plan. The thing is, Columbia eliminated the "guaranteed admission" part of the Combined Plan back in 2019

I guess that wasn't too simple, but that is all the necessary details

tldr: Columbia states there is no guaranteed admission and the LAC states there is
