do you like mcgill?
yea but i don’t think i’ll get in because my grade 10 grade is under A- i got an 83%
unrelated but why health science/biomed/biology for premed? there are stem and humanities premed requirements so there isnt necessarily one major better than the other and if anything, you'll get to learn more medical topics in majors like psyc, sociology, global health, gender studies (because a whole subset of gender studies is health, wellness and disease) and a lot of classes in those majors will also fulfill pre-med pre-reqs so just wanted to throw that out there. (at least for us medical schools)
University of Rochester has a sprcial scholarship for canadian citizens if you are one.
thank you and yea i’m canadian!!
i thought about this a lot and i don’t want to do anything except medicine so i just thought it was easy to just take the streamline
I seee, it's only slightly more streamlined in the grand scheme of things but it makes sense if u like stem/anatomy theory more than patient outcomes type of undergrad education
UofT sciences are known to be difficult programmes to achieve a high GPA in. Of course, if you're confident, go for it, but it may also kill your GPA, which is no small factor for med school consideration in Canada.
trueeee ty
Your GPA isn't bad and if you are going test-optional you have a shot at some selective colleges like Yale
