okay, if I don't apply for aid and I only apply to merit scholarships, what universities can be considered safeties for me?

even if you didn't apply for aid, most schools will see the amount you're able to pay and that's the biggest factor for whether they'd admit an international student. And usually you're competing against other students in your country who also probably want aid. So you just have to work on your app being as good as possible to beat out all those spots

Hello, here are some suggestions for targets/safeties! (under target I've also put some easier reaches that are pretty close to target)

Targets: URoch, Wake Forest (easier reach), Brandeis, UMiami (easier reach), UFlorida, Franklin and Marshall, URichmond, NC State Raleigh, Lehigh
Safeties: U of San Francisco, USD, UM College Park, WPI, Santa Clara U, Drexel, RPI, Temple, UMass Amherst

I have a lot of good reaches too so lmk if you want some suggestions for that as well
