How are costs with dorm and stuff?
And also how are they with financial aid
might have scholarships but prob not much aid since its public
cost is like 70k a year
Finaid would depend on your family annual income so im not sure 🤷♂️
w/o finaid here is a rough list to start with:
Reaches: Vanderbilt, Swarthmore, MIT, Duke, Harvard, UChicago, Brown, Stanford, Rice, CMU (a lot..)
Targets: Brandeis, Oberlin, Bucknell, RPI, GW
Safeties: Rose-Hulman, UN Lincoln, UDelaware, UM College Park
I love NYC too much to not suggest CUNYs or SUNYs as legitimate safeties
Columbia/NYU as reaches
About 50 to 60k a year in total everything cost
Do recommend CS + stats (biased since I'm in that program) but it's a very nice program and you'll definitely get stuff out of it
Good for recruiting too
Dorms are meh but you can spend extra for better dorms
Social life is blooming here
anyone else got any other suggestions
def hard to get into the program though
purdue for cs is also a good choice cuz of cause but its def a reach now for that program
do you have any other suggestions (not mentioned yet)
maybe umn for cs?
oh ok prolly umass
but compared to other schools idk if id be worth to go. Its def a low target to high safety
Amherst?
how would you say it is like difficulty to get in
30ish percent?
