I would ed to somewhere else and not do REA(as plenty of kids with perfect scores don't get into many of these colleges(that isn't to say that it doesn't help)), so you can ea to other schools like MIT, GT, and USC. Also keep in mind that common app only takes 20 schools, and it would be suspicious if you applied to a school w/o common app(no school wants to be the 21st choice)

yeah, my list is definitely too much so im looking to cut down to about 18-20 or so, ty for the ED advice too
np
i think ur stats is quite fitting for ivies
also this is new
i never knew it only takes upto 20 schools
personally for this list i have no problem with it
but ig if u want to be this ambitious, it'd be better if u finish all the college essays and other stuff before ur senior year
so u wont die during that year haha
So true, just get it done ahead of time. Use your summer smartly and get these essays done quickly. Make sure they aren't too generic and actually write a why essay(don't focus on generic stuff like you love the town/city or you love their travel abroad programs or very generic classes or ranking or etc. etc). Focus on the people, the community, and the vibe and specifics of the place(like professors or niche classes/clubs)
Will you really go to Dartmouth if you get in?
I mean, you look like a high achiever who wants a strong interdisciplinary CS and Math program
You’d probably love Brown and Duke given what you want to do
What you should do is, make a spreadsheet of all the supplements you have to write for all your reaches and see where they overlap. Then decide if you have enough time to do all ivies
The ivies, and your other reaches, have a ton of supplement essays
One supplement from Princeton and Brown is almost the same
real
this is the key
And also, don’t blindly apply to all ivies. Idk about you but I don’t like Columbia and Dartmouth
I’m a CS major probably minoring in math and stats btw
I would narrow down schools based on your interests in AI/CS/math, but also allow you to explore interdisciplinary opportunities, there are some schools where integrating those interests will be a lot easier than for others. I might look into Case Western instead of Northwestern or one of the other schools you feel a little more iffy about
dartmouth is probably the most iffy ivy league i have on my list but i like the smaller classes + undergrad research focus, kinda similar to other LACs
yeah im spending this weekend making the spreadsheet 💀
ED if u have a school that's clearly ur first choice, or a choice that u won't regret going to over Stanford. If u couldn't figure out a specific school to get married to then don't. u could also not REA and just EA to MIT, GT, and USC
for the common app 20 school cap thing, not all schools on the list uses common app. for example MIT & UCs has its own app, and look for the others that accept Coalition App. Considering how much schools market the coalition app I doubt they'll be suspicious if ur not using common app
yeah tbh dartmouth not known for AI/CS/math 😭 and greek life is also big though there r definitely alternatives
it's also in the middle of nowhere & cornell also kinda is (4 hrs away from everything lmao)
a lot of the schools aren't in the suburbs & some r in kind of sus environment in terms of safety. Like Yale in New Haven kinda sus, and Berkeley/LA/NY doesn't feel safe to me either
